Sideroad Farm was established in 2013 and is run by Patrick and Amy Kitchen as well as Wyatt and Norah (future farmers). We are located in the hamlet of Walter’s Falls in Grey County, Ontario on 60 acres of loamy soil covered in perennial hayfields, pastures, annual crops and trees. Our farm produces Certified Organic vegetables, cut flowers and pasture-raised chickens and eggs.

Our products are available at the summer and winter Collingwood Farmers’ Markets, through our summer and winter CSA programs, at the Sideroad Farm Store and though local retailers and restaurants including Eat Local Grey Bruce, the online farmers’ market that delivers directly to your door.

We care deeply about our planet and the challenges that we are facing environmentally. We strive to reduce our impact as growers of food and stewards of the land by practising regenerative agriculture and aiming to improve our practices with each season. We aim to improve our soil by practising cover cropping, employing crop rotations including rest years, incorporating livestock (chickens) into our rotation and reducing the use of tillage equipment.
